It is with great sadness that the family of Agnes Mahaffy announce her passing on May 4, 2019. Born on January 12, 1923, she was the daughter of Elizabeth & Harry Leslie. Agnes was the beloved wife of Arthur “Bruce” Mahaffy (1976). She is remembered with love by her children Gayle Simpson (Patrick), Karen McKay (Peter, 2017), Sheryl Mahaffy (Joanne Couvillon), Bill Mahaffy (Barb) and Sandra Muir. Agnes was the loving grandmother of Katie Lang (Justin), Stephen Simpson (Julie), Lauren Ryan (Kevin), Corrie McKay (Megan), Andrew Mahaffy (Nicole), Colin Mahaffy, Caity Pasalodos (Nick), Adam Muir, Carly Muir and Alex Muir. She will be greatly missed by her great-grandchildren Matthew, Thomas, William, Benjamin, Cameron, Sydney, Amelia, Lizzie and her canine “grandchildren”. Agnes was the sister of Harry Leslie, Betty Hills, Bill Leslie, Lindsey Leslie, June Tawton, Margaret McKee and the aunt of many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by dear friends Dorothy Lake and Fran Parr.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
