Passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer on May 20th, 2018 at 72 years old. Leaving behind her loving partner and Sweety Steve Maydan. Cherished mother of Christine (Randy) Gerken, Andy Slavik Jr., Kathy (Mark) Renaud and Michael Slavik. Step-mom to Jason and Ryan (Cléa) Maydan. Dear Oma to Derek, David, Collin, Kayla, Mercedes (Josh), Brenden, Aiden, Jessica, Meaghan (Garry), Leah, Shane, Sheldon. Great-grandma to Fiona and Tori. Special grandma to Miranda. Pre-deceased by her parents Hilda & John Reiss, and former spouse Michael Sturm. The family wishes to thank the 6th floor of WRH Met Campus doctors and nurses, as well as the 3rd floor HDGH Palliative Care Unit for their compassion and care.
