I remember Barry’s smile and happiness – it was contagious. When I started at C&SS Front Street, the computer room was a daunting entity and my first “block time” – and many more after that – were fun, because Barry was so kind and helpful and often gave me words of encouragement and assisted me with some troubleshooting too! My sincere condolences to Barry’s family.

It was a pleasure to work with Barry at 151 Front Street. So sad that several of the 151 Front Street gang have already left us. My condolences to his family.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Barry's passing. He was such an inspiration, a beautiful spirit, fun loving and a strong member of the team at 151 Front St. Who could forget that warm smile and that great sense of humour? He was special in so many ways. I extend my condolences to his family... may treasured memories of Barry stay with you and keep him always in your hearts, never forgotten.

My sincere condolences to Barry's family. I worked many shifts in the Air Canada computer room with Barry. He was always fun to be with and always had some witty remark to make you feel part of the team. I was so pleased when Barry accepted my invitation to participate in my Wedding in Baltimore Maryland as one of my groomsmen. I will always remember all my Air Canada friends that traveled south of the border to celebrate my wedding day. Barry you were one of a kind and I will truly miss you. Rest in Peace my friend.

Reading the words of those who worked at 151 Front St., it is obvious that we all felt the same way about Barry. Barry made our office a better place to work.

If you went to Barry with a work related issue there was always a positive response; sometimes it may have been received with a wry comment. You walked away knowing that the issue would be dealt with. You also walked away with a smile on your face. Barry always had a witty comment and a look to go with it.

Sincere condolences to all the family - I remember some great days for those that worked at 151 Front Street for years.

Having worked for Barry a number of years I can say he was a good friend and a joy to work for. Good days or bad, Barry was always there for you. Kind and loyal, he never let you down. Always trying to make things better for everyone.

I really didn’t know Barry until he transferred to Montreal but quickly realized he was a knowledgeable and reliable person to get straight answers and get things done. He had such a nice manner and was a pleasure to deal with. However, my most enduring memory was of him dressed as the pope on Halloween dress-up at work. As they say, he was straight from central casting. Gone too soon, my
condolences.

151 Front St. was a better place because Barry was there. A true gentleman with a wicked wit, quiet presence and unfailing support. Sorry Tim Mallory but I remember the saying as “ said the Bishop to the nun”. (I use it often). Vic and send our condolences to the whole family. My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family. I remember Barry from Air Canada days C&SS 151 Front Street, Toronto. He was a true gentleman with a wonderful sense of humour. Always smiling and it was a pleasure to be in his company. I remember him as one of the dearest people I have ever met. Rest in peace dear friend. You will live on in our memories.
