86 years on February 24, 2019. Beloved husband of Winnie. Bernie is survived by his sister Annette and her husband Peter Simone and he is predeceased by his three sisters and brothers-in-law: Agnes & Dick Hartford, Leona & John Hughes and Theresa & Rick VanRyckeghem. Predeceased by his parents Thomas (1985) and Pearl (2004) Beneteau and his in-laws Edmond “Bob” (1994) and Clarice (2012) O’Gorman and his sister-in-law Joan (1990). His many nieces and nephews will always lovingly remember him for his good nature and fun antics.

Bernie was a long-time resident of River Canard and spent his early career farming and later worked at the Canadian Salt Co., retiring from there after many years of dedicated service.

On Wednesday, February 27, 2019 friends are invited to join the family directly at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 4401 Mt. Royal Drive, after 10:00 a.m. for Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 a.m.
