Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 24, 2019 at 91 years of age. Reunited with beloved husband Antonio Longo (2015) with whom she shared 69 years of marriage. Adored and loving mother of Angela Paniccia (Quinto) and Attilio Longo (the late Anna). Cherished Nonna of Robert Paniccia, Mirella Mancini (Robert), Claudio Paniccia (Sonia), Lisa Mosca (Egidio), and Tony Longo (Lindsey). Treasured Bis-nonna of Michael, Anthony, Matthew, Anissa, Alexa, Matteo and Lexie.

She will be missed greatly by many cousins, nieces and nephews from Canada and Italy. Delfina and Antonio immigrated to Canada in 1966 from Vicalvi, Italy and worked tirelessly to create a beautiful family in Windsor. She was a dedicated employee of Canada Linen for 29 years. Delfina enjoyed her time spent with family, but her greatest pride and joy were her beloved grandchildren. A heartfelt thanks to the 2nd floor staff at the Villages of St. Clair for their wonderful care and compassion shown each and every day – you are truly the angels that walk among us.

Visiting Tuesday, February 26, 2019 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Service Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 10:15 am from Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841 then in procession to St. Angela Merici for a Funeral Mass at 11 am.
