Dear Nancy, Carol and Sue:
I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. Your parents were wonderful people and I have very fond memories of my time at your house for many many years. I am sure they will be missed by many people.

I hope you are all well and taking care of yourselves during this difficult time.

It is always difficult to lose someone you love but we hope amid the sadness you can find some happiness. Happiness for the life your Mom had, happiness that she was a part of your lives and happiness that she was so well loved. We hope that you will find comfort in your many memories. A life very well lived. Nancy and I send our most heartfelt condolences on the passing of a woman who was so important in our lives. The Barclay and Shea families couldn't have been closer through the years, to the point that this dear lady was our Aunt Doreen in every respect. It is extraordinary to realize that it all began with the friendships of Doreen Menzies and Margaret Kirkpatrick in 1945, and carried through marriages, children, more laughter than should be allowed (and aloud), grandchildren and sadly, the loss of partners and the ravages of aging. We loved your Mom and Dad dearly. It was a magical relationship and now your Mom will once again be united with your Dad. I just hope he doesn't greet her in the diaper truck!
