What a wonderful blessing it is to have known and loved Doug for more than 50 years. He was incredibly kind and patient with us when we met him as teenagers and over the years his sense of humour and generosity of heart always made us smile. You, his family, were the joys of his life. He loved you very deeply and was incredibly proud of you, and he relished in your love and care for him. Because of that I know you're missing him already. Enjoy the happy memories and please be gentle with yourselves when there are tears. Peace and love to one and all.
