I am very sorry to hear of the passing of both Ed and Freda. I met them at Martin Lake cottage through Ed's kindness in permitting my fishing partners and myself to leave our boat there for access to the lake the past 20 years. We will miss our annual discussions at the lake with Ed on various topics. They will both be missed noting their humanitarian contributions over the years.

On behalf of the Bierer family in Tübingen/Stuttgart (Germany) I have to confess that we are deeply shocked and sad about the loss of our cousin Erhard. Seing him about 40 years ago on our trip to Canada we met a great, generous, open minded, wonderful person. Together with my father, Ed’s uncle Michael, who passed away 1996, we had such a great time with Ed’s family. I am ever so thankful having met all of you.
