Dear Judy and Family

I would like to take this time to offer up my deepest sympathies to you and your family for your loss; word can't fully express my sadness!

I was very sad to hear of Gary's illness and passing; he will certainly be very much missed by me.

He was a good friend, shipmate, mentor and boss.

I think we will all miss his funny stories, witty expressions and energetic and fun loving personality.

I am also sad not being able to say good by to him and offer up my sympathy to you and your family in person.

He will be sadly missed.

Dear Judy, Shelley, Randy and Family. We have known Gary for over fifty years and during that friendship, Gary was always an outgoing inspiration. To Gary it was always about how are we doing and how is the family. We had great times at many events together over the years. We will truly miss his never ending smile and above all, his friendship. Please accept our deepest condolences.

Dear Judy and Family, on behalf of the Navy League of Canada, Windsor Branch, please accept our sincere condolences. As you know, Gary was a strong supporter of our Branch and an integral Board Member for many years. He loved the Sea Cadets and always served as a mentor and role model to both the cadets and the leadership of the Corps. His sense of humour, infectious laugh, and kindness will not be forgotten. Beyond that, his true dedication to the Navy and her traditions will sorely be missed. We will think of him with fond memories every time we step on to the Drill Deck at HMCS HUNTER. Thank you for sharing him with us!

Dear Judy, Shelley, Randy and Family. Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of Gary, our shipmate. Gary served in the Royal Canadian Navy for 38 years and during that time he offered advice, mentoring and leadership to hundreds of young sailors, as well as some of us old guys, and always with the best traditions of the Navy in mind. Gary served his country, he enjoyed life and his family. He was a gentleman and a friend and we are proud to be his shipmates. Rest in peace my friend.
