Passed away peacefully on April 16, 2019 at 93 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Rita (nee Guido, 2010) for 54 years. Loving father of Filomena Facchineri (Joe), Lui Rizzo (Tricia) and Linda Rizzo Michelin (Bill). Proud and caring nonno of Ralph, Carmela, Tania, David and Daniel. Dear brother of Vittoria Rizzo, Maria Curcio (Salvatore), the late Giovanna, the late Virginia, the late Mario, the late Giuseppina (the late Mario) and the late Vittorio (Rosa). Dear brother in law of Pia and Franco Facchineri and Assunta Guido. A very special and cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Gennaro retired from Chrysler Canada after 33 years of service (UNIFOR Local 444). He enjoyed hunting with his family, family dinners and spending time with his grandkids. We will never forget his love for sweets (arrowroot cookies, caramels and cake)! Dad/Nonno will be forever missed by his loving family.
