Obituary for John "Ken" Cripps

Passed away at home. Born in Bathurst, NB to Riordon and Martha. Survived by his soulmate and wife of 64 years, Anne (nee Hlusek) and 3 sons Ken, Jim and Pat (Denise). Grandchildren Jessica (Mike), Michael, Bennett, Bridget and Abbott. Survived by his sister Maurita and sister-in-law Vera (Ron) Hickey. Predeceased by brothers Riordon and Joseph, and sister Marge.

He enjoyed his home. He could always be found tinkering in his garage. Ken will be remembered as a handyman, jack of all trades. He marched to his own drummer, lived and died as he saw fit. He was always there when you needed him. Ken was a Canadian Air Force Veteran who served in WWII. He enjoyed his long retirement from GM Transmission.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial visiting will be held on Thursday, February 14th, 2019 from 10am until the time of Veteran's Memorial Service under the auspices of Windsor Veteran's Memorial Service Committee at 12:00 p.m. at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841.
