Karen Kickham (nee Halliday)
Passed away peacefully, in the presence of her family on March 1, 2019 at 76 years of age. Reunited with her loving husband Terry. Daughter of the late Katherine and George Halliday of Sydney, Nova Scotia. Loving and devoted mother of Jim (Kelly), Andy (Beth), and Joe (Kim). Cherished Nanny of Maddie, Charlie and Ellie. Dear sister of June Boutilier, Bob Halliday, Donna MacDonald (Miles) and Debbie Denny (Nick). Auntie Karen to many nieces and nephews.
In addition to being a loving wife and mother, she was a special nanny to young Nicole Gignac for several years and friend to many. As a personal support worker, Karen later cared for many residents of APPD in a group home setting. She will be remembered for her love of family gatherings.
If you so desire, donations to Transition to Betterness or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
Cremation was held. Visitation Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. and continues Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until time of a brief Memorial Service at 11:30 a.m. at FAMILIES FIRST, 1065 Lauzon Rd.
