Passed away peacefully on May 15, 2019 surrounded by her family at the age of 89 years. Caring and devoted wife of the late Bernard for 59 years. Dear mother of Susan Cox (Dan), the late John Grabowiecki (Joyce), and Bernie Grabowiecki (Yvette). Cherished grandmother of Tim Cox (Bianca), Trevor Cox (Jen), and Kim Cox (Jay). Reunited with her parents Adeline and Joseph Amelia. Loving sister of Madeline Price (the late Robert) and predeceased by siblings Anthony (Catherine), Carmel May (Gene), Robbie (Edith), Rose Morrison (Ed), Mike and surviving wife Louise, Andrew and surviving wife Jean, Harry (the late Lilian), and Joseph and surviving wife Harriet. Sister in law of Cecile Andronik (the late Richard), the late Walter Grabowiecki (the late Daisy). She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Lucy was a dedicated and loving wife, mom, grandma and R.N. She began her career at Hotel Dieu Hospital, worked in Detroit, St. Thomas and finished her career in the ER at Met Campus. She enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, and travelling. The family wishes to thank all the truly wonderful people at Schlegel Village at St. Clair for their exceptional care, love, and support especially her family in the Colchester neighbourhood. If you so desire, donations to Alzheimer Society Windsor & Essex Co. would be appreciated by the family.

Visitation Monday 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers Monday 4:30pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor (519-969-5841). On Tuesday, family and friends are invited to meet at Corpus Christi Church, 1400 Cabana Rd. West after 10 am, followed by Mass at 11am. Procession to Heavenly Rest to Follow.
