It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing, surrounded by her loving family, on April 28, 2019 at 62 years of age.
Treasured and adored wife of 36 years to Michael. Cherished mother of Natalie and her husband Celso Oliveira, Jessica John, and Matthew John and his fiancée Alysha Spadafora. Adored mémé of Abigail Rose Oliveira. Predeceased by her parents Ralph (2004) and Dorothy (2007) Pennycook. Loving sister of Bruce & Madeline Pennycook, and Richard & Wendy Pennycook. Deeply loved by her mother-in-law Evelyn John and father-in-law George John (1976). Dear sister-in-law of Veronica & Lee Toldo, Chris & Katherine John, Angela Beattie, Mary & Larry Luvisotto, Cathy & Rick Osmun, Liz & Ron Stephen, and Margaret & Bill Bolton. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Maryann retired from Canada Manpower after 8 years of service to devote her life to her family. She was an incredible cook and loved to entertain her family and friends. Her bright smile and warm spirit lit up the room and will continue to live on through all those who knew her.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. R. Chow, Dr. Kanjeekal, Dr. Cargill and all of the dedicated healthcare professionals in our community for their compassionate care.
