Ngoc Tran & Binh Doan
It is with deep sorrow we announce the sudden passing of this couple on July 15th, 2018. Binh, 53, and Ngoc, 48, had both fled Vietnam and were placed in refugee camps before building a life in Canada together. Binh found refuge in Windsor, Ontario while Ngoc was placed in Red Deer, Alberta. As fate would have it, they met in Windsor, found love in one another, and have been happily married for 26 years. Adored parents of Thuy (Mike), Thao, Danh, Trang, and Tram.
Binh is survived by siblings Tam (Son), Huong (Dao), Hung (Huyen), Chau (Lang), Ly (Lien), Anh, Chi (Lam), Tuyen (Anh), and Lan (Thai). Ngoc is survived by her father Lucky (Huan) Tran, aunt Cung Thi Le, and cousins, Le Thi Sang, Phung Nguyen, and Kim Nguyen. Binh owned and operated Doan Mold Finishing Inc. The two were also very faithful and active parishioners of St. Philiphe Minh & St. Ane Vietnamese Catholic Church. They even helped spearhead campaigns within the community to raise funds in buying the Vietnamese Community their own church.
Visitations are from Monday 3-5pm and 7-9pm and Tuesday 3-5pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service Wednesday 10 am from Families First 3260 Dougall Ave, South Windsor (519) 969-5841 then in procession to St. Philiphe Minh & St. Ane Vietnamese Catholic Church for a Funeral Mass at 11 am. Burial Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
