Passed away peacefully with the love of his family near him on February 10, 2019 at the age of 97 years. Reunited with his beloved late wife Marjorie 2002 (nee Bennett). Cherished father of Bill Austin, and Cathy Collins (John). Survived by grandchildren and step-grandchildren Ryan, Jorie, David, Ryan, Catherine, their spouses, and 5 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Mary Austin and by siblings Tom Austin, Jean Rossano, and Les Austin. Also survived by his nieces and nephews.

Ray, Marj and family had many wonderful times together and he enjoyed recounting those moments. Ray enjoyed conversations with his friends at Tim Horton’s, meeting with the South Windsor Seniors, and having dinners at the Legion. His humour and positive attitude will be missed by all. If you so desire, donations made to The Lung Association or to The Windsor-Essex Cancer Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Visiting Saturday from 12:30 pm until 2 pm.
