Condolences & Donations

May God grant gentle repose to Father Giroux.
He provided comfort to so many people....especially the very poor of Haiti.

Dear Father Giroux:
Thank-you for all your hard work in Haiti. Thank-you for being part of Windsor/Essex District Labour Council many years ago. Rest in Peace, and may you soar with the Angels like yourself in Heaven above. Like the Wood Worker in Heaven, St. Joseph, You carved a better Life for many.
God Bless.
Giovanni D'Alessandro of WDLC, and member of Unifor L240.

Fond early memories surface about Fr. Giroux. In my younger days as a part of the large Altar Society at St. Anne's Tecumseh and whil ein grade school, Fr. Rene was a young priest when Fr. Charles Lanoue was the pastor and Fr. Edward Forton and Fr. Ron Paquette were associates in that era. Fr. Rene was always admired for his caring for the needy in Haiti.
He was a most humble and caring priest. Jerry Marcotte
