Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 6, 2019 at the age of 97 years. Reunited with her beloved late husband Archille (1957). Adored mother of Donald Ouellette (2012) and surviving wife Camille, Robert Ouellette and wife Rose Ann, and Darlene Bernyk and husband Victor. Proud mémé of Kevin (Lisa), James (Anne), Sue (Bruno), Theresa (Rolf), Bob (Sandra), Mike (Kelly), Stephen (Carly), and Richard (Amanda). Great grandmother of Adam, Ashley, Matt, Justin, Sarah, Daniel, Olivia, Andrea, Alyssa, Joshua, Rebecca, Leah, Jessie, Jordan, Aaron and great-great grandmother of Noah, Lily and Stella. Deeply missed by her brother Leonard Gignac. Predeceased by siblings Geraldine Hirschorn and Reef Gignac. Virginia became a widow at such a young age and was left to raise 3 young children. She taught us the power of prayer and to be strong in faith. The Lord provided her with all she needed and a loving family so that she would never be alone.
