September 13, 1942 – May 3, 2019
I worked with Barry in the Air Canada data centre for over 9 years. He was always upbeat, positive thinking and always had a kind word for all of his team mates. In fact I would often laugh at some of his comments, he certainly had a quick sense of humour. i loved to listen to all of Barry's travel adventures.
I probably never mentioned this to Barry but when I was living at home I had invited him over to the house for a swim and BBQ. He met my parents and my Mom later said to me what a nice person Barry was. She had hoped that my sister would marry a person just like him. Barry always seemed to leave a lasting impression.
Barry was kind to enough to accept my invitation to be a Groomsman in my wedding, December 1978. My wedding was held in Baltimore Maryland, but that did not stop Barry from joining the celebration.
I will always regard Barry as my good friend. I miss you and wish that we had stayed in touch over the years.
