Dear Pat. So many stories with you and Dave Elcomb

Not enough room for all the stories that Dave, Pat's boss, would come home with.  FIRST:, Pat kept the riff raff out of Dave's office, allowing only important messages and people.  How she dealt with the pile of paper at the corner of his desk, I do not know. Dave explained it to me as: 'if a 2nd request for information was requested, I could go through the pile and find the original by date.  If there was no 2nd request,, they'd figured it out for themselves and left Dave alone.

SECOND.  I remember Pat's candied applies for the kids at Halloween.  THIRD.  After many pages of unerased typed specs,  Pat came in and asked Dave for his 'john henry'.  Yes, that is exactly how he signed his name - John Henry !  So the specifications had to be retyped.  No erasures.

FOURTH. Pat typed our son, Douglas',, 5th year report.for his final and 5th year at GMI

SIXTH. Pat had trouble with being at work on time, it seemed. Dave fixed that by getting all the office to announce her late arrival with banging their phones or rulers on the metal garbage baskets at their desks.   Yes. And when he was late coming in one time, he announced his arrival banging 2 garbage lids together!   See, I didn't have enough space for more stories.  Great hugs, dear family.
